Testimonials

Dr. Emily Clarke was extremely helpful with the recovery of my lower back injury. I am a Division III athlete and was preparing for my senior field hockey season over the summer when I unexpectedly injured my lower back, and I was unable to comfortably move my back when working out or being active. I immediately went to Dr. Clarke and she did a full assessment and assured me that it was not season-ending, and with her help, I would be back to normal in five weeks. She was extremely flexible with her schedule to fit in appointments where I completed exercises to regain strength in my back. Her workouts were strengthening, healing, and challenging without pushing my limits too much. I watched myself improve exponentially, and Dr. Clarke helped me with my form for squat to help prevent further injury in the future. Dr. Emily Clarke not only helped me heal my back but also improved my form which has allowed me to increase weight in various Olympic lifts. I am extremely grateful for all of Dr. Clarke’s help and guidance, and I would refer anyone in need of physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises to Dr. Clarke.

I have been a patient of Dr. Emily Clarke’s for the past 3 years. Her dry needling and physical therapy exercises have helped me to recover from several injuries in a very short amount of time. She has a comprehensive and effective approach to patient care that has helped me to not only resolve acute injuries but provide a plan for injury prevention. I highly recommend Dr. Clarke!

Last summer, I had persistent neck and shoulder pain from lifting weights with incorrect form at the gym. It got so bad that it hurt to hold my head up. This interfered with my daily life and prevented any ability to build strength at the gym. People recommended I see Dr. Clarke, but I was afraid of dry needling and thought my pain would just go away with time and stretching. As months passed and my pain persisted, I made an appointment with Dr. Clarke. She quickly pinpointed the source of my pain, and recommended dry needling. The procedure was bearable, and I experienced relief from my persistent pain almost immediately! I was truly amazed! Dr. Clarke met with me again and watched how I moved through exercises, and gave me recovery exercises to do. I have been pain-free for a year, and I am so surprised and grateful! I HIGHLY recommend Resilience Physical Therapy, and I will not hesitate to return to Dr. Clarke in the future!

I had struggled with a nagging rotator cuff injury for nearly five years. I felt as though I had plateaued with my previous PT and had just accepted a somewhat limited range of motion and constant discomfort. I found Emily and Resilience Physical Therapy and decided to give it a shot. In a single session of dry-needling Emily was able to release muscle tension that I had built up over those years. It has allowed me to free up my range of motion, reduce discomfort, and in turn increase my strength. I cannot thank or recommend Emily and her practice enough! Thank you again!
